Wasilla AK,
Opportunity came up today on a 2002 3500HD SRW 4x4 Crew Cab D-max with "bad" motor .

Seriously thinking about selling my 91 Burb to pay for it.

I'm almost 100% positive the D-max just needs the injectors and heads changed out ,

its got a 460/E40D/1356 3.55 gears ( barf ) new 315-70-16's on Weld Stonecrushers

I had a '97 F250 ext cab with the same running gear a while back and didn't care for it... Was lifted with 36" tires...

Ended up trading it for the '88 Chevy Crew Cab that I stole the d60 out of...

I was thinking it would be a good Cummins Swap canidate

needs a 52 conversion :whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle::waytogo::waytogo:

Well we traded, Patty cried when the burb drove away but she really likes the F350 its in way better shape then the burb was and the 460 really rips

If you are replacing injectors on that lb7 go with http://lincolndiesel.webs.com/

Titus is great and he has the best price and core price around. There is a 2 week back log right now though :( Thats where I got mine from. I will be replacing them as soon as they come in.

Thanks, Probally gonna be a slow project. most likely won't even touch it until next winter

SAS about 5" lift H2 tires and wheels, Built tranny, paint and body work to fix all the whiskey dents,5" turbo back,Exhaust brake,Water/meth injection, Fifth wheel hitch, ditch the camper shell.

It's gonna be pattys DD and part-time Towrig. ( my 97 Dodge will be getting most of the Towing Dutys)

Might possibly swap out the front clip to the 05 style and maybe some Throttle Down Kustoms bumpers

you say that now. IMHO the chevys are so much more comfortable than anything else out there, me thinks this kick a** duramax you are going to build will become the tow rig

BTW I like the Ford.

it'll definitely see plenty of towing time, but the Dodge is more setup for the towing me and mike do lol
