IMG_20180514_124057.jpg Once again I find myself considering selling my '72 K5...
I have had this truck for many years and I have attempted to sell it before, only to receive low ball offers (most people don't realize how much we put into these)...
Anyway, here it is...
The wheel openings have been stretched (to keep it lower) but retains the body line that follows the opening. it has a 4"soft ride in front with cross over high steer Dana 60/arb. Rear is a wide 14bolt/detroit, shackle flip. 350/4sp/205twinstick.
I have pics of the body work/rockers and floors with box bracing.
I had 39"boggers on it with no rubbing. It now has a new set of 37" pit bulls on ATX/beadlocks.
Tilt calumn/power steering IMG_20180514_124057.jpg
Big warn winch(16.5)
Dual optimas (yellow top)
Exhaust cutouts (electric)
Onbord air (arb+tank)
Let me know if you are interested or have any questions...
Please make reasonable offers :-)

Thanks.
I'm not sure what glwts stands for tho (sorry, I'm old)lol.
Thanks again for looking :-)
The body work was a huge project.
But after adding the 4"springs, the space I gained was directly over the tire(the tires that I had on before lift)
So it looked like I could have put 35" at the most because when you turn the wheel it's too Close at the front or back of the opening (depending on which way the wheel is turned)
So after measuring everything (about a thousand times) We Cut and Relocated the body line that follows the wheel openings (trying to keep the factory look, kinda), but the lower center of gravity was just as important as the look (lowish and fat) the 39.5"boggers fit with no problem, they were mounted on 16.5x12welds.
But I like the new ones better (ride anyway, I haven't had them off road yet)...

GLWTS - good luck with the sale.

Great body work. So did you plan to add the decals back? I see you kept them on the doors only

Not really, that's just what's left to paint (and the tailgate) the stripe used to go all the way around and up over the hood too (before the cowl hood went on it). It's kind of a blank slate, paint it any color you want :-)

Or just paint the doors and tailgate white like the rest of it, add a stripe or not...

I like that rig. What is the compressor next to battery for? There is also another black tank right next to it. What's the purpose of that container?

hate to say it brother but id say 98% of people wanting to buy these prefer mostly original. The stretched wheel arches, mismatched paint, diamond plate that could be hiding rust, wrong seats, no hard top... its going to be hard to sell a wheelin rig at restoration prices. Dont get me wrong.. its cool! but you are probably more in the ball park of 10-12. one tons, lockers and winch bumpers dont really increase the value. value is all in the body and interior. Good luck with the sale though!
