Ive Always been curious don't you have to be a big shot in the car world to get into SEMA? Or is that B.S.?

You have to proove that you work in the field. I did, at the time but, I was able to get some people in, it's harder now.

You have to be involved with the media or automotive sector (own a shop, distributor etc..). I can get in because my business (PerformanceMediaGroup.com) is considered an automotive media publisher (web).

Friday only is however open to the general public.

my friend's dad's company makes spark plugs, but they wouldn't let my friend in just because they were related. so, his dad told the people that he was their real world parts testing consultant guy. . i was kind of true since he did have their spark plugs on his truck.
