This is my first post to this forum. So I'll just go over the junk I have in the works. I have an 81 Scottsdale that I love. I purchased it a few years ago with a 4in already installed and wanted to build it to be more capable so I proceeded to ditch all the front suspension and steering. I was going g to go to a sky 4in hanger drop ordered it was already to install it, and then discovered the greatness that is 52' spring swap. So I hacked up the hanger drop to be similar to the diy b52 and installed my springs and had great results. With the suspension flexed I could stand in the first v notch I went through and have the fender line even with my head (I'm 6'2) it was my little weekend warrior with crossover and way too much flex. 35s on a baby 10 Lincoln locked 10 bolt and 12 bolt rear. Had a bunch of great trips in it till I blew up the rear g80 on a steep off camber hill climb. I then purchased a 14bolt put a Yukon 35 spline spool in it and 4.56 gears and then it sat. During all this I had purchased an 89 k5 Jimmy with a warn winch and ran great for $900. I pulled the winch off and traded it for a Dana 60 that had all new everything an just needed to be set up and slapped together. Got it all together and under the 81. Then for some reason I got a wild hair up my ass and decided to build the Jimmy into something. I'm in California so naturally smog is an issue. I had a sweet little long bed c10 3 on the tree with a straight six and for some reason I thought it was a great idea to pull the cab off both the c10 and the Jimmy and plopped the c10 cab on the blazer frame swapped the 700r4 for a sm465np208 combo a 14 bolt 4.10 and 44 front and let the 81 collect leaves and rust. The blazer worked great on 37s till all the tourqe sheered my pinion on the 44. So back to the drawing board. I took my 60 and 14 bolt out of the 81 did 63s and a shackle flip in the Frankenstein Jimmy/c10. It still hasn't seen any trail time yet. I have to do the 52s up front and rewire the TBI to be a standalone unit and ditch the rest of the harness. Then along came a screaming deal. My buddy had a 89 k1500 with hp44 SAS ff14 bolt and he said it ran cherry. I paid him put it on the trailer because it had a cracked front main leaf took it home and went to do a tune up. Dumped the oil and it was a silver mess. Sure as sh*t the motor was ****ed. That's what I get for taking my friend on his work. So I built a new motor and rebuilt the 700r4. Registration time came and there is a lean on it from a dead man. Can't register it. So cut my losses. Pulled everything worth a damn and sold it for scrap. Wich brings me back to the 81. That fresh motor and tranny are ready to go in it. I took my stock 52s I took from the blazer and put em under the 81 in place of the super soft 52s that were in it before. So now I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to rework this 89 wiring harness to be a standalone and work with the stock harness in the 81. Once I get it figured out the motor and tranny will be dropped in and I'll start reworking the Jimmy harness I put in the 73 so all Ill have is my engine harness and a custom harness for lighting. Custom cage dash and gauges.

Sounds good Man.

Should use a paragraph or two in a long post...a bit hard to read like that.
