sending unit help

instead of getting a fuel cell for my truck im looking at a blazer fuel tank. i found a site that has them for 25 bucks new, never used, military surplus. the only thing is that they are for diesels. my question is will a gas sending unit fit in the tank the same as a diesel sending unit, will it fit?

Yeah it will according to everything I've seen here, problem with the diesel CUCV tanks (if it matters) is that they are not the 31 gallon ones, you'd need the smaller tank sender. 25 gallons IIRC.
