Sending units

Has anyone used the sending units listed in the LMC catalouge? What has been your opinion over the GM ($!) part? I am also looking at the units the carparts.com site if anyone has any opinions about thiers.

The only one (I think) for a 91 tbi w/31 gallon tank.

I just stuck one in my '89 a couple months ago. The truck runs so I would say its fine, but may have to find someone else for long term.
