I purchased the accessory drive (pulleys, brackets, ac pump, alternator) from a junkyard so I didn’t get to see where everything went before it was removed. I have the two main brackets installed but have no idea where the two support bars belong. Here are pics of the support bars and where the install sits today. Any guidance would be appreciated. Btw, the parts came from a 94 with a 305. I am planning on changing the thermostat housing, didn’t get that from the 94.

Yes to intake from each side. Iirc the back of r4 compressor, and the other to the belt tensioner bracket

Geometry doesn’t seem right, I just ain’t seeing it. . The 90 degree bend on the rod is what I’m having a hard time with. Does the bent end go to the intake bolt? Do both rods go to the AC side bracket. It’s over at the shop, I can’t go play with it until Monday. But after looking at the pics for a bit, I could see maybe one rod going from the front driver side intake bolt to the belt tensioner area on the AC side bracket. Do both rods connect to the same intake bolt? Here is a side view from the passenger side. Feel free to draw some lines on those to represent the general location of the rods. :dunno:

Hope those pics help. Looks like you will need a stud or 2 to make it work.
