just finished installing a early 6.2 block assembly ,in a 1995 6.5 na. on first start up the belt came off imediatly. put it back on ,and it falls back off every time. started checking the aligments and the alternator seem off.took altenator and plate back off too examine,head doesn,t seem the same as old block. reinstalled with shims it works but doesn,t seem right on
!!! older block had v belts, we installed its own serpentine set up. anybody ever have this happen ? whats the difference in blocks? truck runs good.
