hey all, has anyone done a swap from a v-belt to a serpentine setup on a 6.2L M1009 military truck?

anyone have a rough guess as to the cost to swap over all the pully's from a serpentine setup, is it as easy as that?

the V-belts on the truck are screaming bloody murder (failed aufully quick, only a few days from quiet squeek to obnoxious noise) and im finding out the dealerships dont stock them anymore, and they might not be available. so im thinking it might be easier to swap over to a serpentine setup, and just measure the length of belt i need and run a custom setup with the belt and pullies. just dont know if theres any problems i should know about before hand if possible.

I remember seeing an ad in Hot Rod, or some other magizine a while back where you could order a kit to do this seemed interesting but I don't know if its still available nor have I heard any pros or cons about it.

well, as a stopgap measure, does anyone know the part numbers for the belts needed for a CUCV???? the local chevy dealership could only find the part numbers for the civi version which i dont tink would work.

if ya need a belt to get ya by for a bit id try napa. I know Gates still makes belts for 6.2s
