Need help identifying this serpentine setup so I can order vintage air. I have look through some old treads but not finding this one.

It looks like a TPI setup to me, so '85-'92 F-body or 'Vette.

It's what I'm running on my 85, except I have a 2nd alternator instead of that dummy pulley. I remember having to drill a hole in the PS head to fit it.

The TBI setup has the idler right in the middle, which isn't compatible with the TPI throttle front and center like that.

Looks like 90-95 std truck suv serp setup .

Heads up my buddy got a vintage air and said the directions sucked . And its not as cold as factory .

So unless your missing a ton of stuff fix your factory stuff .

It looks like my set up off of an early TBI truck.

Looking at it again, I think this is the '92-'95 TBI brackets. The compressor is right in front of the valve cover. But it could also be car brackets.

Does it really matter, though? Do they just need to know whether the compressor is DS or PS? Will they send you a Sanden or A4 instead of the R4?

Also, keep in mind that unless they've changed something, Vintage is recirc only, which will make the defrost suck in rainy conditions.

This truck is kind of a basket case but the body was decent and motor/trans were built with paperwork to prove it. So heat and air conditioning is missing or broken in so many places.
I have heard that factory is the best option.
I just want it to work and be complete.

Blue85 I'm not sure what they are sending it just said they need to know what brackets to send.

I watch a YouTube channel called Yeah buddy garage. He has a blazer with vintage air. He changed out the condenser that was supplied by vintage air and installed a larger one. He said the AC cooled much better. So keep that in mind .
