What do you guys think is a good spot to setup the shackle angle with no weight on the front of the my rig? Right now it is just the frame rails with the springs hanging off of them, and I am about to weld on my shackle mounts. My thought as of right now is 90*. I think this will make a nice 30 or so degree angle when weight is applied and its all sitting on the springs. any thoughts? I think I am going to go tack the shackle mount and lift the side of the truck using the leaf spring, see what happens. But there is no front clip or engine in the truck right now.

i would say to go with a 80* angle because the springs will droop when the weight of the axle and tires are pulling on it aso take advantage of the additional droop you could get.
