Shackel Flip ?

I am going to do the flip this week.

I am going to cut the hanger and drop it through but I need to know if I should drop it through and turn the shackel around 180 degrees.

i would mount it for the open part to face forward, I'm sure it doesn't matter but the reason i think this way is to allow the spring to be able to travel into the shackle versus hitting the closed side, still with me here,LOL Just my 2 cents

I would say that would be turning them around.
