Im trying to get 7" in the rear of my k30. Will I be alright with a 4" shackle flip and a 3" block until I can find some new rear springs? I know i might get some bad axle wrap, but its only going to be for a few months and my rear stock springs has 10 leafs in them as it is.

Yeah, theres no reason why you can't run that if you want. Long term or short term. It's just not a "desirable" set up... but it will work. :thumb:

Had a friend that ran that setup but with a 4" shackle flip, 8" lift springs and a 4" block. :eek1::doah:He never had a problem, other than getting in the truck:haha:

I wouldnt. Try and find some springs on the cheap....much safer.

Man! Do it right! Get lift springs and a shackle flip if you wanna split it up. I went with 10" of lift and only have a 1.5" block, so that's not bad. Lift blocks are past their prime, and safety should be paramount.

Sorry I didn't go with the 12" lift. I'm kinda kickin' myself in the booty!

your truck looks perfectly proportional man...yeah, i've had blocks on every truck i've owned, and wheeled some of them very very very hard, and never had any problems. a little axle wrap, but no safety issues.
