shackle flip and lift springs

well ive dont a diy shackle flip on my 83 chevy k30 and now im putting on 4 inch lift springs on that also, i was wondering that because of the shackle flip if i put on the leaves the normal way will it kick the pinion up too high? should i put the springs on backwards to keep the pinion low or will that be too low?

I would say...Try it and see what it looks like. Only one way to find out.

if you flip the 56's your axle will also move back with the 4" offset.

hopefully your springs came with shims...all you should need to do is turn the shims around....if it didnt come with shims, then get some and put them in backwards (thick side towards the front....taper going back)

ya it didnt come with shims, moving the axle is what i was afraid of, oh well, any suggestion on waht degree shim to get?
