Shackle flip and or Teraflex ?

Could you give me the pros and cons on the ORD shackle flip and Teraflex?
Can you use both on the rear axle?
I want to get rid of my 5 1/2 inch blocks and use a the smallest block i can.
What kind of articulation can you get with the shackle flip? Teraflex says you can get up to a 10 inch drop.Thanks <font color=red>1 FN HI K5<font color=red>

while not as impressive as the generals rig... my webshots have the shackle flip + revolvers install pics on them...

Is it true that you have to run a traction bar to prevent them from opening under acceleration? I don't see how that works but, I've been told.

no. it was alot of fun to go down the road and hit the brakes in his truck for awhile but as soon as he put his shocks on it calmed down

With revolvers a trac bar is a good idea... but if they open up during acceleration, I've never noticed it. Theres to much weight on them still for them to open.

Last I checked they quit making revolvers for full size trucks and blazers, hope you can get a used set.

yeah, what 85 said... I had heard the same thing... no idea if they started making them again or not... I managed to pick mine up right around the time they quit making them (thanks toybox offroad!) so they were still around.

No need to freak if you can't find them tho, Marv Springers (sp?) system is fully capable.

It says $160 for a 1st gen.

I'm thinking of buying another set to use as front spring hangers w/ 63" leaves. If you are looking at flex and a good ride this is the way to go (except that you need more lift than stock 63" leaves so you would have to buy aftermarket springs = $$$)
