shackle flip difference?

where is the difference in the 2 1/2" flip kit as opposed to the 4" flip kit? is it the hangers or the shackles? i am debating on which one to go with as ideally i would like to get around 3" out of a kit and i wondering which of the two kits would be my best option. thank you in advance.

The brackets just have a bit different construction that one has 2.5" of lift and the other 4". Every bit of lift is in the brackets so the lift is changed in the bracket only.

You can use a 2.5" shackle flip and a 1" zero rate to get 3.5" of lift. Just a little more than your desired 3". Usually with a blazer you will need a bit mord lift in the rear than the front to get it to sit level. Blazers have a sagy butt problem.
