Shackle flip differences?

What are difference between the shackle flip designs out there? I know the ORD one is made to use stock shackles. Are there any major differences in design that affect towing, driveablility, etc? It would be going in the back of a expedition type Suburban.

external vs internal shackle, pretty much it..

I much prefer an external.. internal shackles that are HD, or in varying lengths are expensive... external is so cheap you can have many lengths for tuning your height for the same cost as a single aftermarket internal...

unless of course you deadset on using your stock internal one... whereas the externals you HAVE to buy/fab something in the way of a shackle..
