I am shooting for 6" lift. I am ordering ORD front springs. Is there any advantage to ride quality to go a shorter spring in the rear and then add a shackle flip kit. ORD or DIY4X? Thoughts? Gracias.

Generally the shorter lift spring will ride smoother, but if you have the cash, ORD makes some soft lift springs that are smoother riding than normal lift springs. Give em a call.

I did the shackle flip, but my truck already had 2" lift springs. I ended up with 6" and my driveline angles were a lot happier.

When you go up to 6" of lift you're automatically looking at a shackle flip since the rear springs start with a lot of arch and we can only practically get 4" of lift with the tension shackle. The tension shackle works best if you can use it but if you need more than 4" of lift it just doesn't work. You end up having to stretch the springs a LOT to get them installed.
