Shackle Flip Question

I have a DIY shackle flip on my Burb with 4.5 inch shackles, If I switch to 6 inch shackles how much more lift would this give me? I am thinking 3/4 of a inch.

I could not find a really definite answer, I remember reading something once about the length of the shackle is half of the amount of lift you get.

that is roughly true. things to consider is the offset of the pin. the closer the pin is to the shackle the more lift you will get. but we are talking minuscule amounts. also, you dont quite get half most of the time because the shackle is not verticle, but kicked back in most applications.
