Ok big question i grinded off all the rivet heads on the back or so i think. i got them so the r flush with the hanger and can see a little ring around where the rivet use to be. is this enough? also ho do i pull that thing off just yank it off or is there any secrets on how to get that thing off. this is prove a much more big pain in the ass than it should be. any help would be great thanks.

I drilled a 1/4" hole through my rivets ,then chiseled off the head of the rivet, they hanger came right off. I think since you ground from the rear, you may have to use a big f%$$# hammer to knock them off, or if you drillem they'll come off easier.

I second the BFH. If you've got a sharp chisel, you can cut the head of the rivet off. Usually it only takes a couple of hit with a sharp one. Or you could take a punch and knock the rivet out (from the end you cut off) but they might still be stuck in the frame pretty good.

well i got one of them off but lost daylight to get the other one ground off. anyways i compared mine to the pic on diy's site and just wanted to know if i put them on the right side. i have it where it is farther back than closer. is this right i just followed the pics and it is like this one. assumed its right just wanted to know because when i looked at the write up of the ORD ones it is closer to the axle than this one.

Those look like they need to be moved up. Is the full weight of the vechicle on the springs? Your shackle should be at about a 45* angle going the other way.

looks like you swapped the sides. I dont know diy's setup very well but the shackle end of it should be off center. Install them with the offset facing foward and that will help your shackle angle.

A sharp chisel tip on an air hammer takes all 12 off in 20 minutes

thats the pic i took off of the DIY site. i just put it on like that and wanted to know since there is really no way of telling
