shackle flip???????

Well I am on a very tight budget right now after the engine swap and I am wondering what yall think I should do about a cheap strong shackle flip. I dont want to cut a hole and put the shackle through the old hanger bc of strength issues. But I was wondering if someone here has used the front hanger from the rear spring setup and how it has been holding up. Also if anyone here has fabricated their own hanger and if so, some pics so I can get some ideas.

My friend did the front hanger from a rear spring years ago, even before shackle flips were common. Held up perfectly.

I love it and it works great. I plan to triangulate the back of the hanger to the frame, but it already has a few runs on it, as is, with no problems.

here's my album of the shackle flip I did using front hangers. I welded mine on but in retrospect I should have bolted them on.
