shackle questions

compare the stock rear shackles to the stock front shackles. what would the advantages and disadvantages to having each style of shackle? i'm considering putting plate style shackles at the front and rear of my 92, and would like some input on this choice.

yea im pretty much figuring on running plate style shackles in the front too

Seems like the rear style would be stronger because of the horizontal bracing. My logic make sense?

it does, but wouldnt it also hinder performance by not letting the spring flex as much?

I used the plate type on both ends of mine just because they are stupid-easy to fab myself in the backyard. My rear shackles are 7/16 plate.
