Shackle reversal?

When putting a shackle reversal/drop down on my 72k5 am I correct in thinking that this should tilt the pinion up. Just wondering before I cut the old spring perches off to rotate the pinion up a few degrees. Thanks, Doug

Yep, it should rotate it up some. When I did mine it also made my rear driveshaft seem longer (moved the pinion closer to the t-case)
