I've been under the impression that (front) Chevy D44's have the same length shafts. Is this correct?

If not, it is an early style with the external hub what should I expect length wise?

And yes I AM being lazy and don't want to pull the shafts! :D

Thanks in advance

EDIT as per Wes' post oh so long ago, I would expect the following measurements;
right - 36.13"
left - 18.31"

However for clarification, are these measurements without stubs? Are all stubs the same length?

the stubs are the same length. Those measurements are for inner shafts only like mentioned. As far as I know all Chevy D44 shafts are the same length but other brands are not. Ford also uses a different length stub then Chevy.

Yeah I thought so. I was trying earlier to order them and the guy insisted that there were different lengths.

Turns out it was a good thing because I asked for Alloy USA and he decided Superior was the same thing. Granted it's still a good product, but if I ask for something, that's what I'm expecting.

Don't buy Superiors right now. If you bust one they can't warranty it cause they have no material to make more. A buddy of mine has been waiting for 6 months for Superior to warranty one of his D44 shafts. They keep telling him, they can't get the material to make him a new one.

I have Yukon's and am less then impressed sofar. I already destroyed set #1, I will see how long it takes for #2 to follow suit.

You want Alloy USA for sure. Best warranty and they seem to be able to get product right now.

Alloy USA are cheaper too!

I was told there would be a three week wait. So tell your friend to put the heat on them. If they can get a set to a new customer in three weeks they'd better get them to a paid customer sooner!
