Shake at 45 mph

1984 k5 Blazer with 350/700r4 with fresh rebuilds on both, I have a nasty shake at or around 45 mph. Could it be u joints? Tranny? It did it with the old 305 as well. Tires are new and balanced.

could be a bent or unbalanced drive shaft. check with your local shop to see if they can test it.

what kind of tires? i had bias swampers and both sets vibed at 40-45 and 1 set no balenced and other set balenced.
