Shall I consider these for swap?

that's not bad especially if the crossover kit and steering box are new. post back where they are and who the seller is. i'm curious if it's someone i'd know from one of the nj sites.

I am guessing that he is referring to the outer shafts when he says 35 spline on the D60? That would seal the deal for me. Good price if everything else is included if you ask me.

new jersey price though is always dramatically lower than anywhere else. try to knock him down a bit.

1500 aint bad for the axles and you get crossover on top of that with a box to boot.id say it is well worth the price if its in good condition.

i never understood why people call both the axles "rears" can someone explain this for me?

And that deal isnt bad.

The D60 front is 35 spline inner stock, which he is probably referring to. He claims 35 spline axles for the rear too, but all the 14 bolts I've ever seen were 30...

I paid more for my 60/14 combo, same gears and rear detroit. I felt it was an OK deal, but they were in good enough shape I didn't need to spend more to run them.

Just people identifying things wrong, lots of people call axles the wrong thing.

As for the 35 spline 14 bolt thing, there is no such thing of course. FF 14 bolts use 30 spline shafts but they're cut at a different pressure angle than just about everything else, if you were to compare them to the way most axle manufacturers cut them 14 bolt shafts are closest to 37 spline.

Care to explain in more detail Chris? When you say different pressure angle, I'm thinking the spline area is larger? I'm quite curious, and I haven't ever heard of this particular 14 bolt quirk.
