We all have a vehicle for a reason, my k5 is my South Georgia deer hunting machine. It's never crawled over a rock but has crawl through its share of briar patches, and fields cratered out by feral pigs. Hauled tons of corn and seed done it's fair share of navigating red clay and sand. Just so I can toss one of these in the back.

Thats a good deer man! looks wide. >22" I hope to be able to do the same with my Jimmy one day, and maybe find a couple rocks to climb on some camping trips.

I need a front bumper brushguard that will take a 75 mph impact. I destroyed a nice gmc a few years ago.

Roadkill knows no season or bag limit restrictions. :haha:

Road kill also doesn't taste good. My dad tried it once, said once you peel the hide back the meat all looks bloodshot like the area where the bullet impact is except it's over the whole body.

That's a nice deer, don't see many if any that size around here, generally a 15-16" spread is a good size with 18+ being exceptional.

I'm lucky enough to have my scout for wheeling purposes and my 85 gmc (which is a very capable wheeler) for hunting purposes. The truck gets abused regularly but the bed has permanent blood stains from hauling game. No point in cleaning it out during hunting season with my wife and I both hunting for meat we fill quite a few tags every year, haven't bought beef in 4 years.

It's a good deer for around here too! South Georgia and North Florida are not known for monster bucks. I spend a lot of time and money on a tractor trying to grow some decent ones . I lease an old farm that use to grow peanuts ,cows and cotton, now I grow deer and quail . As a bonus I get to wheel my k5 on my own little off road course.
