Only thing I see wrong is its on your truck and not mine.:D

I don't think the pitman arm nut is tight enough. Did you clean all of the paint of of the arm and the sector shaft prior to assembly? It has been my experience that there should be threads showing past the nut.

Good eye. Everything is just finger tight right now. Wanna put the hydro assist ram on before i tighten it all down.

Made a little more progress and i hope to take her out for a little play time on sunday. Still a few things i need to finish but the major stuff is done. Gonna do some " X's " for where the doors used to be and bleed the brakes. Minor things. Give me some input on things you thing may need changing.

WFO on the drag link (went with the shorty tie rod ends.), steering arm. The pitman arm is for a heep and Trevor sold me the arm that would be best suited for the pitman arm. It's really well made stuff. Props to WFO for the steering and GLO for the beadlocks.

Yes! I always seem to run that type of ram. Not the fastest response when making quick turns but it works pretty good. Mine is gonna end up being a trailer queen i think anyway.

are you running the steering box brace or taking the "cross your fingers and hope the box doesn't rip off the frame" approach? the ram will take stress off the frame but its an old saying cause its true. "Better safe, then sorry"

Yeah, i have the bolt on brace. I'm sure it will suffice but if i need too i'll get the weld on thing later on. Hoping for the best right now. Anyone see a problem with the exhaust dumping real close to the right side of my 14 bolt? I can move it but i'll leave it if it's not gonna hurt. I dont want it to make the housing to hot.

If you are doing it you should add the weld on frame repair kit now before it becomes a problem.

Personally we did not! I checked my frame frequently for cracks before and after the hydro assist install, but sure enough maybe a year and a half with hydro assist my frame started cracking.

Other than that looking good!
