Shift kit

I have a th350 with B&M shifter that was in when I bought the truck but was wondering if theres a way to tell if you already have a shift kit in it?

How does it shift? If it is pretty firm there's a good chance it does. But that is pretty subjective. I don't know of a good way to tell. Maybe someone else will chime in.

you can open it up and if there is an extra spacer plate next to the valve body then you have a shift kit
