The shifter tunel cover on my 86 blazer is glued down, how the hell do i remove it. I was just using a heat gun and a scraper to break the glue, would that be about the easiest.

If you look close, you'll see it's tack welded in place. Pretty difficult to get at all the welds with a drill, especially up by the firewall.
