Shifter thread size??

Does anyone know the thread size on a 4 speed shifter?? The one that came with my tranny had a handle JB welded onto it /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif I tried to get most of it off but I just want to rethread it if possible

I'd get the handle you want to install then take it to find the thread pattern you'll need. I know that the 205 and 203 had different threads on there shifters but no clue on a trans since all mine are idiot shifts.
