I want to go out there. Along with Gilmer and Katemcy. Deffinatly will happen once i get the 1 tons under my truck and another tranny.

I simply love their tour bus! Thats my life dream IMO.

Top broke driveshaft had to weld it back...square tubing driveshafts are awesome, then a bad ass dodge diesel outta 4wheeler magazine rockwells rear steer, then the baddest one there cody's 70 something thing rockwells, detroits, rear steer, big block...it was BAD.

More....trying to get the vids to work...may be a few days...they are in .mov format and won't work on the internet so I am converting them...but its slow...

Top is my truck, then my roomates (tow rig), then some ghetto ass diesel with like 80 inch blocks attached to stock springs, and some ghetto steering...it was just fubared, then mine again and me.

Yea you should go out there...its awesome...we are going back the weekend b4 halloween there are supossed to be 50000 people there...Where is Gilmer? Whats there...I have heard of Katemcy...where is it and whats there?

Gilmer is what Shiloh wants to be. There are a lot more actual trails and its run by tx4x4.org. Katemcy is almost inthe middle of the state north of Mason on Hwy 87.

.mov is a standard Quicktime format. what do you mean by "won't work on the internet" ???

Alto is tons of fun but is on the lighter side of wheelin in Texas. Gilmer is quite a bit larger and has many more trails and most or more extreme than you would find at Alto. Gilmer wouldnt be the place to go with the towering tractor tired muddin' trucks but you would like it in your blazer. I think we're making a trip to Alto in a few weeks, it probably wont be too big though.

Gilmer is East of Dallas. Katemcy is all rocks near Mason. I just got to get my rig running again. Blown up transmission. So instead of gearing crapbolts, 1ton on its way.

i know that...but when i put it on supermotors.org it wont play back on the internet, even if i link it from somewhere else it still wont play back...it works fine on my comp. but no where else...unless you know of somewhere else it will work...yea were planning on hitting up those other places...

Ok, if he's clearing those tractor tires (which are about what.... 50+ inches?) and the door frame is even a little above that how did they get in, a ladder?

Yea I don't even know...we walked underneath the truck and we are 6ft tall...the bottom of the door was like an inch over our head. They had a ladder to get in and out of it. It was a piece though...stock springs...front were like negatively "S" arched...check out the steering arm...on another like 55 inch block?! Then the brake lines that arent hooked up...and the driveshaft that also isn't there because he broke it repeatedly. Mainly because it was made out of like 1 inch square tubing. Anyways...it was a joke and all he did was drive out in the middle of the water and sit there and idle with the windows up and the a/c on. That was it...oh and the guy in the jeep ended up pulling next to him and then climbing in with him to also enjoy the view and the a/c. What a douche.

If you notice, that truck also has a solid rear spring mount for his front springs.

im not arguing the fact that that is scary (also it is tagged and inspected) but i think that model ford had the rear of the spring fixed and the front was the shackle end...not 100% but im pretty sure....

mucho de scary! but ya fords used the shackle on the front of the front sporing in those models.
