Can I use a 2" wide shim for my rear leaf springs? I think they're 2.5".
Will that be unsafe or does anyone have input?
86K5 going install the Echobit Shackle flip tomorrow /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

TIA

Chris

I would stick with a full 2.5" width shim, especially if your spring perches are not completely flat but have holes on top. If I had to use 2" shims they should only be steel! Getting ready for the transformation, eh!

Ok Chris. I found the shims and they are 2 1/2" wide aluminum 6 degree.
