Shipping a Bridgeport

Has anyone ever bought and had a Bridgeport mill shipped to them?

Found a few mills on EBay I like but they're 600 miles away, was curious if anyone has ever ordered something like that and had to shipped.

I have a company here in my area that does anything from house hold moving to vehicles to HUGE industrial all over the world .

I mean like has anyone ever had one delivered to them after ordering. Not shipping one out but receiving one that was shipped

I have had a couple of lathes delivered by truck freight, we used a large forklift to unload

Do you know if there's a weight limit on a lift gate truck? They say a Bridgeport weighs in around 2000lbs.

I just googled it, looks like most common tractor trailer lift gates have between 2000-3500lb capacity.

We sold a Bridgeport style mill to a machinist a few weeks ago, loaded with a fork lift on a rollback wrecker for an 80 mile delivery. Moved it around the shop with a pallet Jack once it was palletized
