Hey Guys,
I'm thinking about ordering a Jegs GM 350 crate, they are on sale!
I couldn't seem to find any info on the site about shipping, except next day and $159.00.

Do they deliver to your house if you live out in the country?
Do they unload or do you need to, will a engine hoist/ cherrypicker be enough?

Just how does it all work.
Thanks,

you'd need to ask the shipper for dropgate service.. otherwise expect it on a pallet on an 18 wheeler.. which no, a cherry picker wont do...

Hard to say,

My dad drives a truck and is always telling me about dropping off engines and different items in remote locations.

Pretty much it will come on a truck and you will be lucky if there is a drop gate. From there its your baby.

Like said above, check with shipper and you may be able to pick up from the terminal.

Ive had engines dropped off with out a lift gate and had to use my own picker to unload it,

Have them back the trailer up to your truck and push it off into it..
Not sure how jegs shipping works but some sites you have to ad to cart or there's something you can click on to calculate shipping.

FedEx will charge an extra $92 for lift gate service payable upon delivery. I just had a new engine from Summit dropped off. Put the whole shebang on two furniture dollys and pushed it up the driveway.
