Anybody have any experiance with these???

The profender 2.0 shocks are the exact same price as the fox 2.0 shocks $200 ea.

The profender Bump stops are $20 cheaper than the fox ones. Fox= $170ea, Profender= $150ea

I want the best ones, I dont want to be screwing with filling with nitrogen every time I take it to the dunes. Heaths FOA bumps leak and the ride sucks by the end of a dune day.

Also are either one easier to service than the other? .

And also which one has the best options as far as different valving etc. :dunno:

Also if you have any other companys that I havnt posted that have similar shocks of the same price range. By all means compare.

King and Swayaway are out of my price range.

theres a thread over at pirate, and the guys there talk good things about the profender bump stops.

Yah I have no doubt they work good.

BUT

Profender is made in Thailand.

As far as I know, Fox is USA made.

I'll pay $20 more a bump to support an American company.:waytogo:

If you can afford the extra $$$ I would suggest Bilstein 9100 series shocks. I just bought them for my rig. They are 2.65", the quality IMO is as good or better than the competition, and I bought them direct from Bilstein valved to my liking for $308 ea. I know it's not answering your question specifically, but I think the extra $100 is worth it for the added dampening ability of the larger shock

Oh yah I forgot to add. I bought these.

From a ford raptor SVT.

Talked with the Profender guys at KOH. Stuff looked OK. They stumbled when I asked where they were made. Verified offshore. But I was not impressed with their knowledge. But they may have just been holding down the chairs.

It looks like for $200 you get a 5/8" shaft with the Fox and a 13/16" shaft with the profender. That being said, I think I'd still go with the Fox

Never heard of them until KOH. That's why I asked there. Then looked them up later. Thought it was funny that the guy did not want to admit Taiwan.

I meant, they may have a big 4x4 following there... I have no idea though. But for the same price or close as fox if rather go with fox.

Definately Fox between the 2. I run Swayaways because Fox and King said the could not make my truck work. Swayaway saw it as a challenge. And succeeded.
