So I was originally planning on imboarding my shocks and even make myself i nice setup out of a t-case guard and some box tubing. Now im thinking of mounting them through the bed. i saw a pic of someone on ck5 do it through the bed and yea i searched for it, but I couldn’t find it. if you mounted them through the bed or imboarded them please post up some pics. thanks guys. oh P.S i made progress on my blazer today. i got the trany mounted up and make my alternator brackets and got it on. il post up a pick of my work on the marrow. (did i spell imboarding right?)

those picks are sweet. i was thinkin of somthin just a little simpler.ut nice work

i was thinking somthing like a piece of box tubing across the back inside the bed raised about 5". how much droop do you get with 64s and the diy shackle flip? any ideas in inches?

inches perferably. the diffrence between 2 and 3 feet isnt specific enough

I have 16" shocks and there is 5" showing just sitting. So, I made sure they didn't max out and I am pretty sure droop is about 10" with an inch to spare. Going to put limiting straps if it goes any further.

im wonderin because im going to let my shocks run up through the bed and i need to know how high to mount them. so about 6" stickin out while sitting with 15" of travel shocks will be fine?

I have mine inboarded and mounted on the frontside of the axle so there is no gas tank issues. Check towards the end of my build thread for a picture
