I have a 5" lift, and installed a 14ff in the rear, with cutoff shock mounts. I was just wondering where is the best place to weld the shock mounts back onto the axle to gain the most articulation. Pictures would be great. Thanks.

the shocks dont seem to keep the 63"s from twisting up nicely. the bushing takes up all the radial slop, even tho the shock trtavel doesnt match the axle travel

edit: i re-read your post and that pic doesnt help at all /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
the shock mounts are welded 3" in from the spring pads on the back of the axle tube /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
