shock question
can I use a shock for a 6 inch lift on a truck with a 4 inch lift the reason for asking is cuz I got 4 brand new edelbrock shocks in the box that were laying inside a donor truck :woot: are for a 6 inch lift and i have a 4 inch lift. Will it cause any problems ???

should be fine.... look up the part number and it will tell you. Most made for a 4in lift will also be the same for the 6in

from what I have seen.. the next step is 8in and over... 4-6in is usually grouped together.

Yes you will be fine. I honostly don't think lift manufacturers even measure for shocks they just add how ever many inches of lift. I have gotten alot more droop out of certain trucks just by different shocks.

Haven't done it will a Blazer or Chevy truck just yet cause I always add extended shock mounts.
