I am currently working on the 52" front spring swap and also doing the 56" swap out back, and am really wondering what is the best size or type of shock out there for this? I have the ability to make custom shock towers but would like to hear some of your results, and pics too. :D I have done a few searches and haven't really found anything. Also have any of you ever ran a Dana 60 rear? My real question there is would I have to upgrade wheels to fit? I have 15" wheels right now and I know they won't fit on the 14b, but I was just wondering if the 60 has the same problem. Thanks guys.

Ive got 15x10s with 4 inch backspacing on my 14bff. Required grinding on the front but the rear fit with no grinding.

For reference when I first installed it I had 11 inch drums and later switched to disks with diy4x brackets and have never had any rubbing issues. its close with the disks, like might not be able to slide a piece of paper between the caliper and wheel but it doesnt rub.

for shocks, I recomend finding some long monotubes with 15" travel or more. Ive got 13.5 travel shocks and did my ford shock towers like in the review posted and I can max them out easily. Would like to buy some 15" travel shocks from polyperf with the bumpstops but Im poor.:(

I had to grind just a little off my calipers to make the 15" wheels fit on my 14BFF.

IIRC, some 14BFF drums will not clear a 15" wheel, but discs will be fine.

Gonna have to grind a fair bit to get the D60 calipers to clear a 15" wheel.

I am planning 15" travel shocks for the front and 12" travel shocks for the rear (inboarded).

I have 56" springs in the rear and will be swapping in 52"s for the front.

Also hate to change the subject but I have another question. I'm looking at a doubler, and I believe I have the Np203. I know I can get my hands on a 205 but I was wondering what companies make adaptors besides ORD. I know they are the best just weighing my options before breaking down and buying one.
