saw the blisten thread and have been needing shocks for the duramax. so figured i would jump on the deal.

first though without taking off the shocks how do i determine what length i need? with the independent suspension its hard to gauge what size the lift actually is.

i believe its 6 inch blocks in the rear, and the truck had 37's on it when i bought it. the torsion bars were not turned all the way up to clear them so would it be a true 6 inch lift? or a 6-8

just dont want to order the wrong length.

Here is my father's 4" lifted 3500 with 35's. So not sure what you have, I can get a measurement of his rear blocks if it's necessary. Just picked up some Bilsteins 4" lift for that truck, they ride nicer than whatever came with the Fabtech lift kit. :waytogo: My guess is, if those are 37's in the picture, that you have a 6" lift.

(sorry, don't have any better pics)
