To the best of my knowledge my 74 blazer is stock height, and I am looking at going with
BF Goodrich 33x10.50R15, All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The shocks definitely need upgrading. I am looking for something 90% street with a comfortable ride but can still hit average trails. Any thoughts on either?

If you don't already have 33s, be aware you will likely have rub issues

Shocks are a "get what you pay for" type of thing. The most cost effective are likely the pro comp or rancho shocks on sale ( buy 3 get 1 free) or rebates

If you want good shocks, bilsteins, fox and the like are performance shocks

33x10.50's are skinny, though. I've run 33x12.50's (the more common 33" size) on stock suspension, and on the street it was fine. That was on a newer truck whose springs weren't totally thrashed though. To the OP, if your springs are original, be aware that even on the street and with skinny tires, those tires may want to hit the fender corners during tight turns. Which sucks for brand new tires and/or if your sheet metal is in good condition.

You might do better with a 32x10.50 or the metric equivalent, if available in your desired tire in a 15".

With that tire size, wheel offset is going to be your issue. Stock 15x8 rallys and they work. Even with worn out springs they cleared on my truck under any condition up front.

Oh, I did forget that with the stock width rear the tires would sometimes rub when the suspension REALLY articulated, but only on the inside of the fenderwell so it just made it shiny. I went with the 14SF that is 3" wider, and it's never contacted.

You will want to run those tires at low PSI when you can. The KO2's might be different (I'm running the older TA KO's for now) but the difference at 20PSI vs 35-40 is massive. I cannot express how much difference it makes. Obviously offroad, but I've had to run them at that pressure on the freeway for a bit in a pinch. A cheap 10-20lb CO2 inflation setup is handy.
