The weird thing is I get more comments when I wash the truck AND SHOCKS W/ BOOTS then when I just wash it. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
They aren't chrome or anything, just 4" lift Rancho 9000's, in stock locations, mostly. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
Anyway, sometimes I think it will help dirt, water, ect...away from the piston, and then I look inside the boot and it kind of collects stuff. Who knows, just pick one. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

They serve two purposes mainly... 1) looks and 2) the collection of mud, sand, and water. Lose the boots if you actually plan to go offroad.

I used to run boots. I cut one open one day and it was full of water and mud. I decided right then and there to cut the rest off and leave them off.
