as cold as it is would it not pay to put insulation board down before concrete is in to help from cold soaking up in the shop ?

Yes. But it is uninsulated with no plans for heat any time soon.

I have bought a building, but it's still in MN . It will be awhile before I get mine up

I finally get to park on the slab! And now the camper is in bed for the winter. Hopefully we can add some siding periodically throughout the next few months.
