Looking for a '90 or '91, preferrably the whole assmbled unit of gauges. And in good condition, too.

Going into my '87 V30 to be used in conjunction with the '99 combo of a 454 and 4L80E. Already have the 205 getting lined up to be machined and fitted to VSS also.

So anyone got a good gauge cluster to sell?

Got a pretty nice one out in the shop, picked it up for potential personal use. Ill get some pictures and pm you.

Lens is dirty, i didnt try to clean it. one noticeable scratch above the speedo, on the lens not the speedo. No idea what its worth, its clean and I planned to save it for a potential future project, but at my young age and low income i doubt ill ever be able to build my dream crew. Lemme know if your interested.

Westy is looking for a VSS TACH cluster...

Not sure they exist, but that's what he is looking for.

Yep, what Rene said.

They're out there. They're not cheap either. I think Russell had one once but his was in kilometers for the speedo.

Here's a pic of what Russell had for sale once. Not sure if he still has it but I don't want the kilometer speedo either.

What's more odd with that cluster is the metric speedo, and the oil pressure in PSI. I'm gonna say that was swapped, the Canadian gauge clusters would have the oil pressure in kilopascals.

at any rate if you find one and it is a Canadian cluster don't pass it up. Gauge swapping is plug and play, you'd just need a VSS speedo in MPH and an oil pressure gauge in psi and you'd have what you want.

I've literally walked by tons of '90 and '91 trucks with VSS stuff and never thought twice about picking and pulling parts from them regardless if they had a tach or not. This time I make it my mission to double check and remove even the smallest parts just to stock up on.

Take for example: I've never once saved the kickdown stuff off of any truck that was equipped with a TH400 tranny. I kept forgetting to remove them. :doah:Now those things are in the back of my mind to SAVE them. Same goes for the VSS stuff from now on. :waytogo:

That cluster must be a CA thing only. I've never seen a tach dash in a pickup newer than an 81/82. Must have been one expensive option, even if work trucks with PTO's didn't have them....

I have an '86 with a factory tach, but am still on the lookout for a '91 factory tach cluster.
