Has anyone ever replaced the bedsides of a 69-72 Blazer using aftermarket bedsides made for a shortbed truck? I've heard it can be done, but just need a little input before I start cutting my Blazer up. Pics would be great.

i think mione might have had a truck beside on it. One side had holes and nut deals to bolt down the top and the other side had now holes at all and snaps for a soft top or something. The truck originally had a half top on it when I got it.

It works.

They need to be cut shorter and you'll end up with stake pockets but it will work fine.

Thanks for the info. What about the hole for the fuel filler? Can I just cut a hole with a hole saw, or do I need to cut the fuel filler hole out of the old bedside and weld it into the new bedside?:hack:

Pick-ups had em in the cab, those wouldn't work as a patch.

Just recreate what the blazer bedside had in it for a hole unless your changing the fuel fill location.
