Does anybody know how I can find an O2 sensor for my 87K5 that is not six freakin inches long? I picked up a Bosch at advanced and it looked too long in the image on their site. When I picked it up I thought it was awfully long. From the nut to the outside end was close to 4” long. Stuck it up there as soon as I got home and no way it’s gonna work.

Been to several sites and Advance has a Walker O2 sensor that looks close to factory.
Stock manifolds are on it.

Would appreciate any suggestions on a part source.

Let me check and see what I have. I sold my 350 TBI and I don't need the 02 sensor. If it suits your needs you can have it for the shipping.

I think it's the heated 02. But let me check.

The O2 sensor that I have is a 3 wire heated sensor. If you want it you can have it for shipping. If not, it goes to the next in line that wants it. I have no use for it and it will sit on the shelf until gone.

It's 9" to the 3-way connector.

search this part number
ACDELCO AFS21

I found that part, almost identical to the Bosch part I had in hand. I don’t see enough clearance to install it. Mine is still the single wire setup. Last night I ended up ordering ac delco AFS20 on eBay. Supposed to be a new, still in bag part. Looks closer to the original in length. I recall reading something about the newer ( and longer) AFS21 being better in that it reads the rate of change faster.

Going to attempt to remove the old one in a bit. I’ll post a pic of the clearance.

Wheels87k5.. thanks for the offer. My current one is single wire.

Here’s a look. After removing the other half of the sensor, mehbe I could use the longer CDFFF9A8-0F3C-46D0-B8BF-4713A182311B.jpeg7B01F7D0-C85F-40D0-9934-46405D559443.jpeg

nswtfii except in the way. And after lookin closer ( at the picture), it appears to be leaking coolant?? I will check that out closer when I get the o2 sensor. Snowed six inches last night. Just about gone now. No hurry to crawl under her till things warm up a bit.
