short plugs for headers??**edit: Found 'em

Hey all....Could someone tell me if it would be ok to put the short spark plugs in a 400sbc so there would be good clearance from the headers? What could the reprocussions be? Any recommendations of brands would be great too. Thank you very much for your help!!

There're two makers of header plugs that I know of. Accell and Champion, both suck.

uugghh...didn't wanna hear that Wouldn't it be ok to use a shorter plug, as long as it has the same temperature range as the correct long one's?

In case this may help someone else, it looks like the replacement short plugs for the stock plugs for the 400sbc with stock heads are Accel #8199 (this is the set of 8). Figured this may help someone in a "search" one day. Several shops confirmed that they are shown as the offset match and are in the same temperature range. Hope these work!
