why not...

I voted trazer the blazer, of course :) If you want more wheelbase you can always do some spring swapping. I'm at 114" right now, If I ever go to full hydro steer the front axle will be moved forward 1.5"s more

just do a blazer over to a swb frame if u want that much wheelbase? people swaping pu to blazer ...why not other way around? and u still could b52 it and get even more!

where did you get the idea a blazer is a unibody? they are both have frames, and the frames are almost identical. and i dispute that the 241 is a bad case for wheeling. it is quite strong, and the gear reduction unit is stronger than a 205. it may have a slip yoke, but those are only bad for two reasons. the first reason is if you have too much suspension and you need more slip. the other reason is if you break the rear driveline and that is most likely due to driver error than the slip yoke design.

Ok let me clarify By unibody i meant the the "bed" of the blazer is all one piece with the cab, which means that it reinforces the frame and dosnt allow for as much flex in the frame. pickups have the cab seperate from the bed its not a huge difference but it does allow the frame to twist alil more than a blazer would. Yes and you could buy a slip yoke eliminator, but in my opinion if you want to build a good solid off road trail rig. You would want to use the th400 or sm465 trans. the np205 is very strong can be found all over the place and you can get a twin stick kit for it. not to mention getting a 203 and making your own doubler. either of those setups can stand up to big block power. 700r4's cant handle the torque. Just my $0.02

what's the wb of a swb truck, 117? 52s will add ~2 more inches of wb thats 119. Depending on where you wheel that may be fine but where I go, the trails are designed for heeps and sammys:crazy:

swb=115'' iirc and u dont have 2 do the 52's

nope....thats 1st gen i believe

2nd gen is 117.5.....i stand corrected
