shorter oil filter?

with my cheap autozone headers I cant run my stock ph1218 oil filter with my stock oil cooler. the very end of it hits the headers. anyone know a part number to a oil filter that is smaller? I guess I could run a filter relocation kit but really didnt want to.

Maybe do a remote kit , and put the filter on the firewall , or the core support , or inner fender .

Delco PF25. It is a 1/2 qt filter as opposed to a PF1218 being a 1 qt filter. PF1218 has an anti-drainback valve and a PF25 does not, but orginally these trucks were spec'd with a PF35 which is the same as a PF1218 but without the anti-drainback valve. A PF454 *might* work for you, and I *believe* it has an anti-drainback valve if you need one and is also approx 1/2qt..
